Initiated on 31st January 2012, Tuesday 8 am
Indusindbk : Buy
Entry price: 280
Stoploss: 262
Target: (waiting for a break out above 300)
Time period: 1 month

Yesterday monring, I have initiated a buy on INDUSINDBK at 280 with a stoploss of 262.
I would suggest to wait for a closing above 300 for a further target.

HDIL - Positional Buy

HDIL : Buy
Entry price: 75 - 80
Stoploss: 70
Target: 115
Time period : 1 month

The entire Real-estate pack has been in the down-ward trend through out last 3 years.

In the month of January, the volumes in all the reality counters have increased.

The larger volumes in this counter indicates  buying by stronger players. As the 100 DMA is placed at 80, the stock is facing some resistance at these levels.

But, the stock has been side ways for more than a year and it is more likely that the hurdle would be cleared.

CrudeOil - Positional

CrudeOil MCX: Buy
Entry price: 4972  - 85
Stoploss: 4916
Target: 5113
Time Period : 5 Sessions

After making a high of 5498 on 4th January 2012, the commodity has been falling through out the month.

It is important to note that at 4906-10 a support is placed.

Even the momentum indicators suggest the slowing down of the pace.

But, if the support line is breached, the fall would be up to 4500.

But, the indicators like Slow Stockastic and Fast Stockastic on weekly basis also, suggest a slowing down of the pace.

The WTI Crude monthly chart indicates a resistance at $104.

So, one can buy Crude at 4972 -85 with a stoploss of 4916 (yesterday's low) for a target of 5113.

Silver - Intraday - January 30, 2012 - Monday

Silver MCX: Buy
Entry price: 55480 - 750
Stoploss: 55180
Target: 57200
Time period : Intraday Only

The Silver Spot US is trading at $33.58.

The StockRSI and William which are the momentum indicators suggest the over-bought zone.

However, it is important to note that the metal has been making higher closings for last 3 weeks.

Therefore, any dip up to the low of last trading session ($33.26) has to be considered as a buying opportunity.

But, if it breaks the low of the previous day, it is prudent to exit the position.

If this situation is considered in MCX, the entry price for the position is placed at 55555 which is the Open price of 25th January.

It is important to note that in MCX, Silver is facing a resistance at 57200 which had been a support of the August 2011 rally after the great fall.

So, for the day, one can buy Silver in the range of 55480 - 55750. The stoploss for the position is placed at 55180 for the target of 57200.

Top pick of the quarter - DLF

DLF : Buy
Entry price: 192 - 205
Stoploss: 172
Target: 335 / 450
Time period: 3 months

During the 2nd week of January 2008, the stock had made a high of Rs.1210 and in the 1st week of February 2009, it formed a low of Rs.124 on NSE Cash segment.
After the great fall of almost 90% from the top, the stock has forming Lower Tops and Lower Bottoms for last 3 years.

On 17th August 2011, the stock made a low of Rs.173 on NSE Spot. On 6th January 2012, again the stock has formed a low of Rs.173 only.
On January 10, 2012, the volume on NSE cash segment was more than 3.5 crores shares and on January 11 it was 2.77 crores.

In short, the stock has formed a double bottom followed by the 2 years' highest volume.

The daily chart suggest a strong resistance at 225. Yesterday also, the stock has made a high of 225 on NSE Cash and could not sustain the selling pressure and closed at 212.

The technical indicators like RSI, StockRSI and William suggest an over-bought zone for the stock on Daily chart. Even the weekly chart indicates a hammer on closing basis.

But, irrespective of other parameters, the stock is best buy at each and every dip. If it breaks the double bottom formation, it is prudent to exit the stock.

Nifty Positional

Nifty Future: Buy
Entry price: 5015 - 4950
Stoploss: 4828
Target: 5650
Time Period: 3 months

After making a top at 54.5 USDINR has been making new lows.

On 10th January, (lower circle in the image) given a confirmation of the strengthening rupee.  The Nifty then was also exiting the oversold zone on daily chart. Therefore, I initiated the target of 5000 and on 17th January the expiry target of 5171.

However, it had not breached the falling channel so far.

Friday, 27th January closing of 5205 on NSE Spot confirms the break-out.

But, the other technical indicators (RSI 91.8, Ultimate Oscillator 74.48 and StockRSI of 100) suggest the pressure would be seen in the coming few days.

The 200 DMA of Nifty spot is placed at 5205 which has been the close of Friday.

It is more likely that we may see the selling pressure up to 4948 which is 100 DMA and 21 EDMA of Nifty spot. So, any dip up to 4940 has to be considered as a buying opportunity. However, If Nifty starts trading below 4830 which is the 50 DMA of Nifty spot, it is better to exit the long.

The quarterly target for the nifty can be considered at 5650 though at 5400 a resistance is placed.

Silver updates for 27 January 2012

Silver MCX: SELL
Entry price: 57860 - 58450
Stoploss : 58620
Targets: 57400 / 56680
Time period: Intraday only

I have initiated a positional buy on SilverMCX for a time period of 3 months on 21st January. The entry price range mentioned is 54200 - 55200 for the targets of 57200 / 59900 / 62300 with a stoploss of 52300.

On Wednesday, Silver MCX made a low of 54671 and traded near 55000 through out the day.

Now, today our 1st target would be achieved. The recommendation for day is to sell Silver MCX.
Please note that the positional view is bullish only. The recommendation is for the intraday trade only.

Silver US spot is trading at $33.36.

At $33.72 - 33.89, the selling pressure would be seen in the metal.

The 4 hrs chart suggest the slowing down of the pace for the day.

The trend on MCX seems also positive.

But, a resistance is placed in the range of 57900 - 58400.

The recommendation for the day is to sell silver only in the range of 57860 - 58450.

It is more unlikely to cross 58500 today. But, still the stoploss of 58620 has to be kept.

The targets for the day are 57400 and 56680.

BankNifty - Intraday 27 January 2012

Banknifty : Sell
Entry price: 9839 - 9882
Stoploss:  9936
Targets : 9659 / 9563
Time period: Intraday only

The Banknifty spot made a low of 7888 on 2nd January and since then it has been in superb uptrend.
With the high of 9906 on Wednesday, Banknifty has gained nearly 20% in a month's time.

However, on the daily chart, it can be seen that a resistance is placed at 9900.

The other technical indicators are also in over bought zone.

So, it is more likely to witness a selling pressure today.

One can Sell Banknifty future in the range of 9839 - 82.
But, the stoploss of 9936 is must.

The targets for the position can be considered as 9659 and 9563.

Also, the weekly chart of Banknifty suggests an overbought zone.

Secondly, though, during the month Banknifty was up by 20%, it has not broken-out of the falling channel.

Gold for January 24, 2012

GOLDMCX: Buy
Entry price: 27435 - 27365
Stoploss: 27260
Target:  27680 - 738 - 827
Time period: Intraday

Gold Spot US has crossed its 200 DMA on 16th January and have been trading above it.
The 100 DMA is $1686.

The indicators suggests an over-bought zone for the metal.

However, it is very important to note that for last 18 sessions, it has been making higher lows.

So, a dip during the day is a buying opportunity. As of now, Gold Spot is trading at $1672. It may dip up to $1662 during the day.

The MCX gold chart does not reflect the strong buying like SPOT US due to the strengthening rupee against dollar.

However, today any and every dip up to 27365 has to seen as the buying opportunity.  But, if it trades below 27280, the trend would get weaken for the day. So, a stoploss of 27260 is must.

The target for the position can be considered as 27680 - 738 - 827.

Nifty Outlook for the day 24 January

We have witnessed buying through out the month of January.

The indicators like RSI, StockRSI, William indicates over-bought zone.

But, still the buying expected to continue till the expiry at least.

Today morning, the USDINR in US is trading at 50.07. Yesterday, it made a low of 49.84.

However, the Open Interest of 69 lacs in the Call Option of 5100 suggests hurdle at 5100.

But, looking at the strong buying positions in Nifty, it seems during the day, we will see unwinding of OI in 5100 CE and more writing of 5100 PE.

A Nifty trader can create long in range of 5038 - 52 with a stoploss of 5029 for a target of 5100 / 5132.

Outlook Nifty January 23

Though the market has displayed sharp upside movement from 10th January, though the stocks like TataSteel, Reliance, RCOM, RelCapital, RELINFRA, SBI, LT, BAJAJ-AUTO, COALINDIA zoomed by more than 15% within a month, the larger degree outlook of the market is not changed yet.

Refer to the weekly chart. The market has not breached the falling channel formed in the month of December 2010.

Only a weekly close of 5200 and above will confirm the end of this falling channel.

I strongly believe that it was the change in the trend of global currency that took place on January 10 (refer post on this blog) that fueled the buying.

On 7th December, Nifty spot made a high of 5099.

As of now, the market is near its resistance line of 5050.

The RSI is also in over-bought zone.

For the day, the selling is expected at 5049 - 62 range upto 4980 - 85.

However, if Nifty starts trading above 5072, the buying would be seen again. Hence, for the selling position, one must maintain the stoploss of 5082.

Silver outlook

The US Gold Spot has crossed it 200 DMA on 16th January and have been trading above it.

That indicates the bullishness in the precious metals.

On Friday evening, Silver showed a sharp up move. In MCX it crossed 55000 mark and on Saturday it touched 55800.

The US Spot daily chart indicates a strong break out.

It has been trading on the higher side of the Bollinger Band for 8 sessions and on Friday it challenged the higher band.

The Double bottom formation at $26 is also evident of stronger up move in the coming days.

However, at $33  and then $35 Silver Spot would face some resistance.

The US Spot Monthly chart also suggest the same.

In the month of August 2010, after forming tripple bottom at $17.5, Silver spot zoomed to $49.786 in May 2011.

Since then, the larger trend for the metal has been of selling. But, now it can be seen on the chart that the tripple bottom has been formed at $26.

Second,  the fall of $23 (from $49.8 to $26) can be considered as the 71% retracement of the great rise from $17.5.
Which means, the metal has completed its 71% retracement and formed a tripple bottom.

Looking at the domestic situation in MCX, the double bottom formation on Daily chart is seen at 48500.

The RSI is 60 and MACD has turned positive.

On higher side, it may face resistance at 57200 - 900.

A closing above 57900 will open up range up to 59400 - 63800.

The sharp recovery backed by strong volumes on Friday evening suggests bullish trend for the metal.

The daily trading range of the metal is as large as 3000 points. Hence, one should consider any dip as a buying opportunity.  The buying range is 54200 - 55500.  However, if it start trading below 52400, the momentum has to be considered as collapsed. So, it is very necessary to maintain the stoploss of 52300.

Late night silver updates

Oh! it's US time!

Well, Silver US spot is trading at $30.82.

The intraday momentum has shown superb strength up to 53750.

But, the US spot Daily chart suggests that the it's time to go short in Silver MCX.

Many indicators are suggesting topping out for at least 2 days.

Silver updates 20 January 2012

Refer the morning post. Mentioned that the updates about Silver would be published by evening.

Today morning Silver Spot US was trading at $30.65.

The Daily chart of the Silver spot US was indicating a halt for ongoing upside move.

Which indicates a selling opportunity at yesterday's high.

Yesterday, Silver MCX made a high of 53860.

Therefore, suggested a range of 53700 - 900 to create the selling position for the day to my customers and friends.
As of now, Silver formed a low of 53170 and now very close to the Intraday target of 52862.

My friends, who are in the business of advising (The Regional Head of Fortun Financial - Mr.Joseph Macwan and my best buddy Prashant Vibhute of MOSL) have also created the positions at 53700 - 750. However, the higher side limits were not executed.
As I updated them yesterday evening only about the trade, now I suggest them to square the position by 7:45 pm. The Gold US is expected to bounce back by the time as it is now close to its 200 DMA.

market updates for January 20, 2012

Refer my post of 11th January on this blog.

I have mentioned that the two weeks would be of the "maine bola tha kind Kids' weeks".

Stocks like Reliance, Tisco, SBI, CoalIndia, LT zoomed sharply.

An average trader has been used to of selling due to the trend of past year. And I have mentioned that we should avoid what we have become used to of.

Refer the weekly chart of Nifty below.

Though Nifty has displayed superb strength it has not breached the downward channel yet.

Now, for one week, a trader can create position in any of the stocks like YESBANK, DCB, AREVA, FINANTECH or any other stock of his choice.

The condition is the stock has to be a side-line counter and not front-line counter.

But, the trade for the day is Silver MCX.

On January 16, SPG has mentioned in the morning itself the updates about Silver and mentioned the targets also.

But, today the post will be published by evening only.

Wish you a happy trading.

it's morning 8:30 am January 19,2012 Gold US Sell for the day

My friends who have been trading for years have developed expertise in identifying the trends.

They believe the weakening $ is a fuel for Gold prices.

Gold as of now about to make a new high of last 20 days.

Gold US Spot is trading at $1665.

But, my technical understanding suggests different.

My targets for the day are $1642 and $1621.

USDINR

The daily chart suggests some recovery in the USDINR.

The indicators on daily chart indicate a bounce back for at least a week.

One can buy for a target of 51.4.

NATURAL GAS

The Natural Gas Future on MCX has been in free-fall mode for almost a week.

People are suggesting a double-digit target for the commodity.

the Daily chart of NG MCX

But, the Natural Gas UK provides a clue.

the monthly chart of NG UK

Yes, the time to enter has not come yet.
But, remember, a money-making opportunity is ahead.

Before Diwali, I initiated a buy on Crude Oil at 3742 for a target of 5250.
Crude has been the commodity of the quarter so far.

Market updates for January 18, 2012

Do u remember what I mentioned on 11 January on this blog?

____________________________

As mentioned Gold US made a high of $1639.75.

Nifty also display the splendid move and tried to test our ultimate resistance of 4872.
Here onwards, Nifty seems to test 5000 mark within two weeks.

Also as mentioned McDowell displayed good upside momentum today. One can hold the stock with the stoploss of 515 now for a target of 600 within a week.
______________________________________________________________________________________________
This is what my posting was on 11 January.

What happened on 11th January?

INRUSD made a high of 54.30 on 15th December.

The following sessions there on confirmed the top of the currency for mid term.

On 10th January, the downwards slope was confirmed.

I have been always saying that never ignore the momentum in Currency.

Be it Gold or Guar, Nifty or Sensex ultimately the impact would be seen.

I will not be surprised if Nifty touches 5170 till the expiry of January Derivatives series on NSE.

The outlook for 18th January

Nifty has displayed strong upside for a week.

The RSI is above 70.

So, tomorrow, a gap-up opening is most probable.

Tomorrow, I recommend to sell Nifty Future at 5032 - 38 range.

On higher side, Nifty Future can touch 5062 - 65 also.

But, One can hold the position for a target of 4976 & 4923.

Today morning, I initiated a buy on Silver at 52550 for a target of 53400.

As of now, Silver made a high of 53874.

Now, I will post the updates on 23rd January, Monday.

Until, wish you happy trading.

Market updates January 17, 2012

Yesterday our stoploss of 4892 in NiftyFuture got triggered for the selling positions created at 4876-80.

Nifty spot expected to touch 4944 today.

But, the trade for the day is SilverMCX.
Silver US spot is trading at $30.18.

The 4 hour Chart of US Spot suggests Silver to touch $30.83 and $31.1 (Dec 14's high).

The weekly chart on MCX suggest a resistance at 53400.

So, our target for Silver MCX is 53400 for the day.

Yesterday, our McDowell-n touched 650. Today, at 635 - 40, I suggest to book full profit.

Sunday, 15 January 2012

Market updates January 16, 2012

Thursday evening, I have updated that at 4880, we will witness selling pressure but Nifty if crosses 4892, it will touch 4912 - 32 range.
Nifty Future made a high of 4917 once it crossed 4892.

For today, the same range is to be considered.
At 4880, we will witness selling pressure. Nifty will display strength only above 4892.

On Thursday evening, I have mentioned that the target for McDowell is revised to 700 and the stock may face some resistance at 600.
Friday NSE Close of McDowell-n is 599.6 though on higher side it touched 630 mark.

On Thursday, I initiated a buy in InfyFuture at 2600. However, it failed to sustain 2600 on Friday and recommended to book loss at 2591.

Also mentioned on Tuesday that the week would be of the "maine bola tha" kind KIDS' week.
Many stocks which had been falling for more than 10 weeks show some strength and bounced back sharply.
(refer the post)

Stock for the day is SBIN.

One can Sell SBIN at 1782 -88 for an Intraday target of 1727.

the stoploss for the trade has to be kept at 1803.

Thursday, 12 January 2012

Outlook for January 13, 2012

As mentioned on Tuesday, Mcdowell show the sharp upside momentum during the week.

I have recommended a Buy at 515.5 with stoploss of 505 for a target of 600 for the week.

Today McDowell Future made a high of 593.
I suggest to hold the stock further.

If tomorrow, NSE Cash manages to close above 580, we can increase our target level to 725 which is its 21 week Exponential Moving Average. However, the resistance would be seen at 600.

Today during the last half an hour, I initiated a Buy on Infy at 2600 NSE Cash price.

The daily chart of Infy

A gap-down opening and a steep fall followed by.
The indicators suggest a smart pullback on Friday 13th Jan.
Expect Infy to bounce upto 2666 -70 level tomorrow.

On 11 January, I initiated a sell on TCS.
Today, with a low of 1070 on NSE Cash segment, my target is achieved.

Please check today morning posting.

I have mentioned the entry point for Nifty future is 4819 - 25.

Check today's Nifty future low. It is 4818.

Well, here onwards, the best entry point for Nifty buy position is 4757 - 68. However, 4779 is also a support for the Nifty future.
Yes, at 4878 selling pressure would be seen.
Crossing 4892 would take Nifty future to 4919 - 4932 levels.

Wednesday, 11 January 2012

January 12, 2012

As mentioned yesterday, Nifty outlook remains unchanged.
However, for buying position in Nifty 4808 spot level (Nifty future 4819 - 25) is a proper entry point.
Higher side Nifty can test 9th Dec high of 4912 spot level.

Gold and Silver seems weaker for the day.
One can Sell silver at 52750 - 850 for a target of 51380 - 450.
For the position 53080 has to be maintained as stoploss.

As mentioned yesterday, Gold US faced resistance at $1644. Even as of now, it is trading at $1644.
But, yes, I continue with my target of $1611.

Tuesday, 10 January 2012

Gold for January 11, 2012

Yesterday Gold US was trading at $1616.4 and I initiated a buy call with a target of $1639.
Gold made a high of $1640.37.

The daily chart suggests the weakness for the day.
As of now Gold US trading at $1637. On the higher side, it may go up to $1642.
But, one can sell Gold at current level for the target of $1611.

11 January 2012

Nifty spot has opened above 8 and 21 Day EMA and maintained above through out.

The Daily chart suggests the stronger indications.
The next resistance going forward would be 4918 (Nifty spot high of 9th Dec).
Again today the Open Interest in 4900 PE has been increased by 7.40 lacs which suggests big writing in 4900 Put Option.
However, the weekly chart suggests a stronger up move for 2 weeks.

I would say that this and the week later are going to be the weeks of the "maine bola tha" KIND KIDS ON THE STREET's weeks.

Look at the charts of PSU shares. Stocks like NTPC, MARUTI, SCI, NATIONALUM suggest somebody knows no political unfavorable situation expected soon.
Dispite lack of any positive news, the PSU shares are showing smart accumulation.
Weekly chart of Maruti

Weekly chart of NTPC

Weekly chart of Bhel

Weekly chart of Nationalum

Let the stocks be distributed amongst. Let the smart kids recommend their "meine bola tha stocks" to numerous people.

During last few weeks, we have become used to of SELLING.
We should avoid what we become used to. And in case of Nifty for at least 2 weeks.

TCS weekly chart also suggest the same. The selling positions can be created with a weekly view with strict stoploss of Rs.1192 in future.

Monday, 9 January 2012

Sunday, 8 January 2012

09 January, 2012

The selling pressure would be seen on the higher levels in Nifty.
However, the support is placed at 4722 (Nifty spot level).

Though on Friday buying was seen in NIfty Future, one can sell Nifty at spot level of 4795 - 4802 with stoploss of 4812 spot level.
NIfty spot crossing 4812 may show 4872 - 79 levels.

EURUSD
Support would be seen at 1.18 level.

McDowell-n Future currently trading at 517.95. Major support for the stock is at 505.

The weekly chart suggest a sudden bounce upto 600.
However, for the future 505 has to be kept as a strict stoploss.
